Support World Fair Trade Day on 10th May 2008
By admin • Apr 24th, 2008 • Category: fairtradeThe theme for this years World Fair Trade Day is Fair Trade + Ecology. The World Fair Trade Day is an international celebration of Fair Trade internationally, with worldwide events helping to put the focus on fair trade and ecology.
The usually takes place on or around the 2nd saturday of May each year, and this year it falls on the 10th of May. Across the world there will be series of events taking place, including Fair Trade breakfast, talks, music concerts, fashion shows and much more supporting and promoting Fair Trade and the ecology.
We suggest that we all do our part on that day, as well as any other day, and make sure that we buy Fair Trade or ecologically sustainable products. For places to buy products online, we suggest you take a look at our Fair Trade product directory .

Dear all,
Hope you are all having a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend!
I just wanted to resopnd to the point about World Fair Trade Day.
BoBelle and Oxford University have joined forces and holding a Fair Trade Market at Gloucester Green Market Square in Oxford City Centre on Saturday 10th May to raise awareness for World Fair Trade Day!
The market will take place all day from 9am - 5pm and there will be lots of fair trade exhibitors and promotions. Please do come and support us!
If you are not local to Oxford then do have a look at the World Fair Trade site and see what is going on in your local area.
Let’s all support fair trade this year and help spread the word!
