Fairtrade Foundation appoints new chairman

Smith is no stranger to the Fairtrade Foundation as he has been serving on the board for the last 10 months. The Fairtrade Foundation is hoping he will bring fresh ideas to help develop further business growth as the Foundation is aiming to double the number of farmers and workers in the developing world that will benefit from Fairtrade sales in the UK (source: Drapers).
